The professional modern dance company, Ad Deum, will perform Saturday, March 1, at 7:00 pm, at the Greenville Municipal Auditorium, to raise money benefiting Greenville’s Raffa Clinic.
Ad Deum is a professional modern/contemporary dance company based in Houston, Texas, directed by founder Randall Flinn. Since being established in 2000, Ad Deum has toured across the USA, Canada, Mexico, Europe, and Asia, and received outstanding reviews of their performances worldwide. Dancers have come to Ad Deum from around the world seeking to be connected with a community of artists that share a common vision and desire. The mission of Ad Deum is to create and perform excellent and vital works of dance that serve to wash over the heart and soul of humanity with relevant meaning and redemptive hope.
Since 2000, Raffa Clinic has been meeting the emotional, spiritual and physical needs of women, men and families who are facing an unplanned pregnancy. Initial prenatal services are offered (pregnancy testing and ultrasound) and options counseling is provided. Raffa Clinic also offers an education program that teaches topics such as parenting, budgeting, nutrition, and pregnancy. Clients earn “credit” for each class that can be used towards material assistance (clothes, cribs, strollers, diapers, etc.) All services are free of charge.

The benefit performance is hosted in conjunction with Timbrel School of Dance in Greenville, which offers instruction in Ballet, Pointe, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Theatre Dance and Irish Step for students ages 3 and up. Timbrel School of Dance exists to explore the relationship between artistic expression and faith by focusing on strong technical and artistic instruction in a personally enriching and uplifting environment.
Proceeds from tickets sales for this performance will go to Raffa Clinic, helping women and their families face unplanned pregnancies and challenging parenting circumstances. Tickets are $15.00 each for adult general admission and $10.00 each for seniors 65 and older and children 12 and under.
