Raffa Clinic has a few families in need of some blessings for Christmas. This is our third year and we have been so blessed to see our client families overwhelmed with a multitude of Christmas Blessings!
This year we have a few families (Dads included!) who we have been working with throughout the year who are in need of some help to make Christmas special for their kids. If you are interested in Adopting a Family (or just a single family member), visit our Adopt a Family page for more information.
It’s getting closer to Christmas! For most of us that means creating our Christmas wish lists and starting shopping for our friends and family. But for so many Raffa Clinic clients, Christmas is a difficult time. Many have been through difficult pregnancy decisions, new babies, and rebuilding lives after turmoil.
Our Raffa Clinic staff has chosen a few of our families that we have had the blessing of working with this past year and we have asked them if they need some extra blessing this year for Christmas. Some said they were good but others said they would be grateful for the help.
We have created our Adopt A Family Christmas Tree at our Greenville Clinic. When you agree to adopt a family, you are agreeing to purchase items from their wish list (please keep in mind these may be the only gifts the child/mom receive). You are welcome to adopt more than one if you are financially able.
For more information about our families and to see how you can bless a family, click here to go to our Adopt A Family Page.
Thank you for all you do to support Raffa Clinic!
We have gone Bunco for Babies and invite you to join us!
Raffa Clinic is proud to present our first annual Bunco for Babies fundraiser on Thursday, June 13, 2019 sponsored by Capital Title.
Funds raised from the event will support the Raffa Clinic of Hunt County as we continue to serve women and families in our community by educating, equipping, and encouraging expectant and parenting families.
The fast-paced game of Bunco is played with a set of 3 dice as 4 players at each table attempt to roll as many of the target number as possible each round. There are six rounds per game with each game lasting 35-40 minutes. Our event will hold two games of play.
There will be plenty of door prizes, awards for our winners, and additional opportunities to financially support the ministry during the “warm-up” time (food & photos) from 5:30-6:45pm. Official game play begins at 7:00pm sharp.
“Our hope for this event is to provide a safe, clean, and fun night for our community while raising awareness and support for the Raffa Clinic,” said Threesa Sadler, Executive Director.
Raffa Clinic would like to thank the following sponsors for their support: Presenting Sponsor, Capital Title; Ken & Donna Stroud, Color Sponsors; Robert & Leanne Bledsoe at Farmers Insurance, Tray Sponsor; and Greenville Automatic Gas, Table Sponsor.
For more information about the event or to purchase tickets, visit https://raffabunco.eventbrite.com or contact Threesa at 903-456-4317.
Raffa Clinic was recently honored with the Non-Profit of the Year Award by the Greenville Chamber of Commerce. Thank you so much to the Chamber staff and Board of Directors for this wonderful recognition. Along with the award, we were granted a $3,000 grant to utilize for our patient medical services and educational services.
Thank you all for your support and for continuing to build up Raffa Clinic in the community by sharing the wonderful work that we are able to do. We couldn’t be here without you!

Raffa Clinic has continued to grow over the previous year and with our new expansion into Quinlan, new volunteer opportunities have risen. There are MANY different ways to serve at Raffa Clinic and NEW volunteer roles and times available. If you work 9-5 or have kids with you during the day, don’t let that hinder you. We now have evening volunteer opportunities available!
Client Advocates: Do you have a heart for helping others? Then this volunteer position is for you. Client Advocates meet directly with our clients and help with their intake process and discuss their pregnancy options with them. You are truly their advocate and help them look at their situation and give them information about all of the options available to them.
Mentors: Do you feel called to pour into the life of someone else through mentorship? Then this is the role for you. We need men and women to come alongside and mentor our clients in the areas of parenting, relationships and life skills. This is a wonderful opportunity for discipleship!
Receptionist: This position is for the people person. Our receptionists are often the first person our clients talk to when they call or walk into our clinic. As a receptionist, you will greet clients, assist with client paperwork and answer phone calls.
Teachers: For those called to teach, we are always looking for people willing to facilitate our education classes. So many of our clients that choose to parent their children ask us for help in getting ready to have their child or help with parenting and relationship issues once their child has been born. As a volunteer teacher, you would be facilitating our Earn While You Learn program that covers topics dealing with pregnancy, parenting, household and money management, relationships and many other topics. Our class material is already prepared, you simply facilitate the class and the discussion. This is a great opportunity to educate a new generation of parents in our community.
Nurses: Our nurses have the opportunity to meet with our clients and perform their pregnancy tests and sonograms. You will discuss prenatal development and prenatal care. Our nurses often have the unique opportunity to be the first person to show our clients their new baby during their sonogram. Raffa Clinic provides training in limited obstetrical sonography for our volunteer nurses who qualify for the training. This is a unique opportunity to use your nursing skills in a new way.
Facilities: Raffa Clinic often has odd jobs that need attention. Many times these include some light painting, small repair, or other small tasks around the clinic. If you are skilled in a specific area and are willing to lend your services, please contact us and let us know. We will keep an ongoing list of facility helpers and contact you if a need arises.
Raffa clinic will be hosting its Annual Fundraising Banquet on Tuesday, November 1st and YOU ARE INVITED.
We will be celebrating what the Lord has done at Raffa Clinic this past year as well as giving you a look into what we believe 2017 holds. This is a wonderful night to celebrate life and support the ministry of Raffa. There are a limited number of seats available so please register early.
Your dinner for the evening is provided by our generous sponsors and you will be given an opportunity to financially contribute to Raffa Clinic. This is our largest fundraising event of the year and we would love to have you join us!
Unable to attend? Please consider giving a financial gift at www.friendsofraffa.org to support LIFE.
Raffa Clinic is growing and we are hiring a new Client Advocate to meet the increased need. We will be accepting applications and resumes at our Greenville clinic located at 2612Jordan Street until 5:00pm on Thursday, March 10th. Applications and resumes can also be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Client Advocate Job Description can be found here: Client Advocate Staff Job Description.2015.
The Raffa Clinic Employment Application can be found here: Application For Employment.2015.
Please pass along to anyone that you feel may be a good fit for this position. All questions should be addressed to Threesa Sadler at 903-454-9711.
