Real Essentials Volunteer Opportunities

Do you love working with middle and high school students ? You’ve come to the right place! The Real Essentials Program is committed to Hunt County area students by empowering them with accurate information and practical tools to help them make healthy decisions.

Real Essentials relies heavily on the generosity and service of its volunteers. If you would like to partner with us in any way, please contact us at info@raffaclinic.org. Please find our greatest needs below.
Advisory Council – We need a committee of parents, teachers, students and medical professionals to help us provide accurate and age-appropriate information. We especially need help with up-to-date medical information. (Estimated 2-10 hour per semester)

Real Essentials Program Director–  Raffa Clinic is currently seeking a volunteer Program Director to direct and present our Real Essentials Program in Hunt County Middle Schools and High Schools. This position allows you to work from home but you must also be available during regular school hours for presentations. Hours worked are determined by school presentation schedules. To request more information contact Threesa Sadler, Executive Director at (903) 454-9711 or at threesa@raffaclinic.org.

Volunteer Educators – We’re always looking for people who are interested in presenting the Real Essentials classroom curriculum in local high schools and middle schools. The training is intensive, but self-paced. We generally try to place our Volunteer Educators at a school near their work or home. You will be scheduled to present once or twice a semester, depending on your availability. This opportunity requires a flexible schedule during school hours.
